One evening on her way home, Lucy discovered a stray cat curled up in a box. It seemed that the cat had been abandoned by its owner. Although Lucy felt sorry for the cat, she couldn’t take it home because her landlord didn’t allow tenants to have pets. As a result, all she could do was bring food to feed the cat every day. One day, as Lucy walked home, she noticed that the stray cat was gone.
