The stories of British author Roald Dahl are known throughout the world. In addition to classics like Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and Matilda, one of Dahl’s most exciting stories is The Big Friendly Giant, or The BFG. The book has sold over 200 million copies since it was first published in 1982. Disney even produced a live-action adaptation of it in 2016. The BFG is about a girl named Sophie and a gentle giant. When Sophie first sees the giant, the BFG, he is carrying a suitcase and a trumpet.
