These days, e-scooters are becoming an increasingly common sight in major cities. They offer people an easy way to get from place to place without worrying about traffic. Surprisingly, scooters aren’t a new invention. In fact, these two-wheeled wonders have been around for more than 100 years. Looking at their past helps us understand why they have become so popular today. The first motorized scooters appeared around 1915. One of the first types was the Autoped. It had an engine installed over the front wheel and could reach speeds of 32 kilometers per hour.
